Job Description
Role: SAP Functional Support – PP/QM/PM Modules
Department: IT / SAP Support
Reports To: IT Head
Key Responsibilities:
1. Master Data Management
Production Planning (PP):
S&OP, Work Center, ECN, BOM, Routing, Production Version
Quality Management (QM):
MICs, Sampling Procedure/Method, DMR, Inspection Type, Inspection Plan, Quality Notifications
Plant Maintenance (PM):
MICs, Sampling Procedure, Work Center, Functional Location, Equipment Master, Task List, Maintenance Plan, Class, Characteristics
Transactional Data: Preventive/Corrective/Breakdown/AMC/Calibration Maintenance
2. Error Handling & Troubleshooting
Analyze and resolve errors in transactional data across PP/QM/PM modules
3. Material Master & MRP
Ensure accuracy of MRP and Quality-relevant data
Generate SQVI reports using strong table knowledge
4. Process Improvement & Documentation
Define new processes and best practices for PP/QM/PM
Prepare user manuals, test cases, and perform testing
Troubleshoot both new and existing developments in Dev/QAS/PRD servers
5. Data Management
Upload data using templates (BAPI, LTMC, BDC)
Utilize SAP GUI scripting for repetitive transactions
6. Serial Number Management
Manage serial numbers for key materials like Engines, Transmissions, and FG
7. Screen Variants & Maintenance Plans
Maintain developed screen variants across PP/QM/PM
Schedule maintenance plans and address user issues (individual/mass)
8. Configuration & Transports
Perform configurations and manage TR (Transport Request) imports across clients
9. User Training & Support
Conduct monthly end-user training sessions in PP/QM/PM modules
Improve ERP understanding and effectiveness among users
10. Support Coordination
