Job Overview
As an SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant – Fresher at HCL, you will assist in implementing and supporting SAP MM modules to help businesses manage procurement, inventory, and materials efficiently. This role is ideal for graduates who are eager to begin a career in SAP consulting and have foundational knowledge of business processes and SAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in requirements gathering and understanding client business processes.
- Support configurations and customizations in SAP MM under the guidance of senior consultants.
- Help in master data setup for material types, vendors, purchasing info records, etc.
- Support testing activities, including unit testing and integration testing.
- Provide end-user support and assist with documentation.
- Help to resolve issues during implementation and support phases.
- Participate in training sessions for clients/end users.
- Collaborate with other teams (FI/CO, SD, WM) for cross-module integration.
Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Basic understanding of SAP MM module and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
- Good communication and analytical skills
Preferred:
- SAP MM certification or training
- Knowledge of other SAP modules
- Understanding of supply chain and procurement principles
