Job Description Job Title : SAP MM – Purchase Officer / Category Executive Company : Avenue Ecommerce Ltd Location : Pune / Mumbai / Bangalore Salary : Upto ₹2.8 LPA Department : Supply Chain / Procurement / Warehouse Operations Work Schedule • Monday – Saturday • 9 hrs/day • Warehouse-based role Role Overview Responsible for managing end-to-end procurement, inventory replenishment, and vendor coordination for FMCG / FMCD / Grocery categories using SAP MM, ensuring cost efficiency, optimal stock levels, and smooth warehouse operations across assigned Fulfilment Centers (FCs). Key Responsibilities • Create and manage Purchase Requisitions (PR) in SAP MM • Convert PRs into Purchase Orders (PO) • Process Stock Transport Orders (STO) for inter-warehouse replenishment • Coordinate with vendors for quotations, pricing, and delivery schedules • Monitor stock levels across multiple FCs and plan replenishment • Ensure timely Goods Receipt (GRN) posting • Coordinate and resolve PO–GRN–Invoice discrepancies • Support finance team during invoice verification and closure Key Skills Required • Strong understanding of SAP MM purchase cycle • Inventory management & replenishment planning • Vendor coordination and follow-ups • Basic knowledge of STO & GRN process • FMCG / FMCD / Grocery domain exposure • Warehouse operations understanding • Cost control & basic price negotiation skills • Comfortable with basic calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages)
